Big Giveaway: $200 GCs to Bergman Jewelers
December 11, 2010
I have a wonderful holiday giveaway for you, readers! (4) $50 promotional vouchers (gift certificates) to Bergman Jewelers in Omaha. That’s $200 that you may use all at once, expiring on 12/31/10. If Santa is in the market for some big bling, or maybe that engagement ring, these would give you a nice discount. They have beautiful white gold pieces, and gorgeous pearls, too.
To enter, just leave a comment on this post telling us your favorite thing about Christmas presents! A winner will be selected by December 11, and notified by email (so be sure to fill in that field). You may enter as often as you wish until midnight December 10.
Deadline is passed. I’ll contact the winner later today, and announce soon!
Here are some coupons you may find helpful:

To give gifts to those I don’t even know and to see the look on their faces-it’s priceless and more than I could ever ask for-that’s the true joy of Christmas-to give without the thought of receiving.

I love the anticipation of seeing the gifts under the tree with their pretty wrapping paper and bows. But more than that, I love it when we pull the envelopes out of the tree branches telling what charity was donated to in each other’s names. (A tradition we started a few years back for the adults in our family.)

The greatest part about Christmas presents is everyone around you taking part in opening the gifts and enjoying each other.

My favoirte thing about Christmas presents is the wait. I love the build up of suspense as the gifts sit day after day under the tree. Then the excitement of FINALLY being able to open them!

I love the feeling of appreciation I get when gift is opened. It doesn’t matter how much it actually costs, it is the thought that goes into the present that counts! Priceless =)

I love to watch the kids go room to room looking for clues to their presents! We do a scavenger hunt in our house for each present! The excitement once they get to the final clue and find their present is AWESOME!! Kinda how I would feel getting this GC!!! HA!

I love the memories that come flooding back to me as I place gifts under the tree…memories of being with my sister and guessing what each box contained. Memories of the boxes arriving in the mail from Grandma and how they even smelled of her house. Memories of the lights dancing on the foil wrapping paper that my mom reserved for gifts she purchased for my dad. And the list goes on. I don’t remember all the gifts that were given over the years, but these memories are engavend in my mind and I love watching my own children as they repeat the process and build thier own memories.

I love picking out wrapping paper for my kiddos presents. Last year we wrapped the 4 girls’ gifts each in different wrapping paper so they could easily see which gifts were theirs and then we wrapped the boy’s gifts in Thomas wrapping paper. I think he liked the wrapping paper as much as the gifts!

Shopping for Christmas presents is fun! It will be interesting this year since we are on a very VERY tight budget and didnt really buy anything ahead of time. We spent a LOT of money last year (close to $700 for EVERYTHING), this year our budget is allowing $400 for EVERYTHING, so I’ll be a fun challenge to stay within that budget =)

I love MAKING christmas gifts for people. I usually make handmade Christmas themed thank yous for family and friends and pair it with an ornament. These are always SO well received!

I love (and hate) the suspense of waiting for almost a month to find out what I’m getting. My husband keeps telling me how much I’m going to love my present, but I have no idea what it is!

I love picking out a gift that will not only be well received but that the receiver will be happy to get. I try to give gifts that wont cause clutter and wont leave the person thinking ‘what am I going to do with THIS??’ =)

I like giving to others that don’t have much and request your basic neccessities, those are the people who really appreciate the gift!
